Jubilee Academies Named One of the Top-Rated School Districts in Texas by the TEA
Jubilee Academies is proud to celebrate a historic achievement — earning a B-rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the 2024–2025 school year. This recognition officially places Jubilee among the top-rated school districts in Texas, marking an incredible three-year streak of academic growth and progress.
A Remarkable Turnaround Across Texas
From San Antonio to Harlingen and Brownsville, Jubilee campuses have shown outstanding academic improvement. The district climbed from a D-rating in 2023 to a solid B in 2024, demonstrating the hard work and dedication of students, teachers, and leaders across every campus.
This milestone also marks Jubilee’s third consecutive year advancing a full letter grade—a rare accomplishment among Texas school districts and a reflection of the district’s renewed focus on academic excellence and student success.
Leadership That Inspires Growth
In her first year as Superintendent, Dr. Atikah Shemshack led Jubilee Academies through a series of bold, student-centered initiatives aimed at improving learning outcomes and strengthening school culture.
