Immunization
Students are required by the Texas Department of State Health Services to be up to date in their childhood immunizations.

Medications
A parent’s signature is required for all medications (prescription and non-prescription/over the counter) which are needed at school.

Illness
Students with a fever of 100.0 or higher will be sent home from school in order to prevent the spread of illnesses as mandated by the Texas State Health Services.

Common Illnesses, Useful Information Regarding Childhood Illnesses
Mandatory Completion of the TEA Seizure Management Form Begins January 1, 2024 Section 3 of Senate Bill (SB) 1506, 88th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, states that the change in law only applies to a seizure management and treatment plan submitted to a school district on or after January 1, 2024. Therefore, anything prior to January 1, 2024, can be on any form; however, beginning on or after January 1, 2024, information submitted must be on the form posted on the webpage provided below. The TEA Seizure Management form can be found by visiting the Healthy and Safe School Environment of the Coordinated School Health Model webpage. The Texas Education Code (TEC) §38.032(a)(1) states that the plan must be on the form adopted and posted on the agency’s Internet website used for submitting a seizure management and treatment plan.

SHAC Committee Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 11:00 Am by Nurse Recio.
On December 4th of 2025 At the Jubilee District Office.
Agenda:
Item 1: to introduce the officers and by laws and main Objective Creating a Healthy Jubilee. Laws were approved by the committee.
Item 2: The Committee got to work on its first List of goals. The committee broke out into a 15 min session to pick 3 goals that would match the communities main objective.These three items are listed to be our main focus:
