Carryover Eligibility for Free and Reduced Lunch Guidelines

The purpose of this announcement is to notify households of previous school year eligibility termination.

Carryover Eligibility for Free and Reduced Guidelines

Carryover eligibility applies to all the eligibility determinations (free/reduced) from the previous school year.  Student(s) eligibility determinations from the previous school year will be honored during the carryover period of eligibility prior to processing household applications for the current school year. The carryover period is the first 30 operating days of the current school year.  New eligibility determinations will be applied as soon as an application is received and processed.

Jubilee Academies will accept applications for free and reduced priced meals throughout the school year. It is the parent’s choice to complete and submit a meal application. However, if a meal application is not submitted for the current school year, the household will not be eligible for free or reduced priced meals.

If your household qualified for free meals through other eligibility sources (ie. Foster, Pre-K, etc.) and your household has not been notified in writing by the district Child Nutrition Department, the household will not be eligible for free meals. If the household would like to be considered for free/reduced meals, they must provide a completed meal application (paper or online) for review.

Meal applications may take up to 10 days to process.
